NATIONAL CRAFT & DESIGN FAIR
The National Craft and Design Fair took place this year in the RDS Dublin, from December 5th to 9th. This fair is the largest craft event held annually in Ireland and has in excess of five hundred craft and food producers on show.
This year once again thanks to the support gratefully received from the County Enterprise Boards in both Cavan and Monaghan, Cavan Monaghan Crafts had eight stands at the event. The eight participants this year were;
Anne Godwin, Vintage Postcards.
Lorraine Lonergan, Designer Jewellery.
Shirley Pratt, Art Work.
Anke Morgenroth, Bear Essentials
Yoram Drori, Irish Celtic Art.
Carmel Noughton, Designer Jewellery.
And also exhibiting for the first time,
Sinead Clarke, Textiles.
Julie Sheils, Pottery.
Participation in this leading event provides an excellent shop window for craft workers from the region not only to attract sales but also to gain valuable first hand feed back and information from customers on any new products or designs they have on show.
