Having initially trained as a bridal and evening wear designer with the Grafton Academy in Dublin, Catherine is now a self taught textile artist concentrating primarily on hand painted silks.

Drawing inspiration for her designs from her local surroundings in Ballybay, Catherine finds her work of painting on silk totally absorbing.
