Patrick Bradley - Rocking Horses

Skilled woodcarver Patrick Bradley started making rocking horses in 1996. Always with a keen interest in old rocking horses, Patrick developed his skills based upon the production techniques employed by rocking horse craftsmen of old. Using only the finest of hardwoods Patrick makes each rocking horse in the same traditional way as craftsmen 150 years ago.
Each rocking horse created by Patrick comes complete with hand made genuine leather saddle and bridle, real horsehair is used for the mane and tail. The muscles in the neck, chest, body and legs are expertly defined and just as in life no two horses are exactly the same, when complete they take on the shape and detail of a real horse and will compliment any room and provide endless enjoyment for children and adults for many generations. Patrick’s horses are available in three sizes and are supplied in oak, elm, ash, beech, cherry, poplar, yellow pine, alder, pitch pine, mahogany, and the ever popular dapple grey.
